It is a trend for couples nowadays to have a destination wedding. This is why when Meghan and Brett asked us to plan an entire weekend wedding in Fortress Hvar – we made sure to go above and beyond in designing a multi-day celebration for them. The couple wanted to create an amazing weekend for all of the guests who traveled to witness them tie the knot. Since they had to postpone their big day twice already due to the pandemic, they wanted to make the most out of their big day. As memorable as one's special day should be, a three-days of fun-filled celebration made it even more remarkable.
A boat trip was scheduled a day before their actual ceremony. An island-hopping around Pakleni Island was a special start for their Hvar Croatia wedding. This was such a great idea to help everyone relax before their wedding in Fortress Hvar. Furthermore, it was followed by cocktails at the Topbar at hotel Adrianna with canapes and Gin & Vodka station, accompanied by live music and speeches.
For their ceremony, they had a Church wedding in Hvar. They united in holy matrimony in St. Stephan Cathedral, a historic venue in Croatia. The reception had a classic yet modern theme as envisioned by the bride. To achieve this, we decorated their reception in the Spanish fortress in Hvar with luxurious florals while following an elegant color palette of green and white. This wedding venue in Hvar Croatia also has a rooftop that is perfect for a cocktail party – which the couple really loved. To end their weekend celebration with a blast, they had an awesome bbq party at their villa on the third day.
Choosing a wedding venue in Hvar Croatia guarantees a wide variety of places to discover. You can opt to have a historic venue in Croatia, a Spanish fortress in Hvar, or a Church wedding in Hvar as well.
Every location makes it an ideal place for a destination celebration.
