The fort was constructed way back during the 16th century in the times of the Venetian rule. Its walls were erected in 1579 and the whole fort is a powerful symbol of rich history and impressive perseverance over the century. Spanish Fortress Hvar wedding venue offers breathtaking views of Hvar Harbour as well as the nearby Pakleni islands. It can host both civil and symbolic wedding ceremonies depending on your personal preferences as well as dinner receptions up to 150 guests. Please note that there is no back up option in case of rain (only tent) and the fortress cannot be exclusively privatised for the event.
